Overview

The Program Manager – Digital Wholesale supports the performance and execution of assigned brands and categories on Amazon, partnering closely with internal planning, marketing, and operations teams, as well as Amazon counterparts and agency partners. The role is responsible for driving data-informed assortment decisions, maintaining strong in-stock and operational performance, optimizing advertising investment, and ensuring consistent, high-quality brand execution across the Amazon platform.

Responsibilities

Assortment & Category Strategy

- Own assortment selection for assigned brands and categories.
- Partner cross-functionally throughout assortment development.
- Analyze historical performance, identify whitespace with Amazon teams, and use third-party analytics to size opportunities and set financial guardrails.

Amazon & Operational Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for Amazon category and operations teams.
- Ensure onsite content, merchandising, and execution meet Amazon standards.
- Actively manage Andon Cords and operational issues to resolution.

Advertising & Agency Management

- Partner with advertising agency teams on performance evaluation and spend prioritization.
- Identify opportunities for incremental or redirected investment based on results.
- Identify demand spikes, in-stock risks, and overstocks; develop mitigation plans through promotions or advertising.

Brand Experience & Content

- Own onsite brand presentation, including content calendars, seasonal brand shops, and store launches.
- Partner with marketing teams to execute PDP, A+, ads, and storefront content.
- Maintain content guidelines and manage the new item content process.

Planning, Forecasting & Lifecycle

- Drive product lifecycle decisions, including exits or replacements driven by margin or performance.
- Own weekly performance reporting and dashboards with offshore support.
- Partner with planning teams on forecasting and replenishment.


Decision Rights
The Managing Director will hold the following decision-making authority within assigned brands:
- Recommend assortment additions, exits, and replacements within established financial guardrails.
- Prioritize advertising spend allocation within approved budgets in partnership with agency teams.
- Determine onsite merchandising priorities, content refresh cadence, and seasonal storefront execution.
- Set priorities and timelines for offshore-supported workstreams (e.g., New Item Setup, reporting, issue resolution).
- Escalate operational, inventory, or performance risks to leadership with recommended mitigation plans.
- Recommend promotional and inventory management actions in partnership with planning and operations teams.
- Define weekly performance reporting focus areas and performance action plans within category scope.

Qualifications

- Experience supporting a brand or category within Amazon (Vendor Central and/or Seller Central).
- Solid understanding of Amazon retail fundamentals, including in-stock management, forecasting inputs, operational metrics, and issue resolution (e.g., Andon Cords).
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and advertising data to inform recommendations.
- Experience contributing to assortment planning and new item launches, using data to support decision-making.
- Familiarity with Amazon advertising programs and working with agency partners to monitor performance.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with planning, marketing, and operations teams to execute against shared goals.
- Ability to coordinate workstreams with offshore or shared service teams to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range

USD $69,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
