Overview

The Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Operations is a member of the team responsible for facilitating efficient movement of goods through the DC to our wholesale customers and retail stores. The position is a primary point of contact for our internal partners, vendors and customers. Through strong communication and relationship building, this position ensures efficient and effective Supply Chain operations by our logistics providers.

 

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain Daily/Weekly/monthly reporting on performance, order tracking, service levels, etc.

• Support Supply Chain strategic initiatives with performance analyses: e.g., In-transit inventory, order fulfillment rates

• Rollup DC invoices.

• Monitors vendor compliance.

• Support in-transit management of Inbound and outbound shipments.

• Respond to DC inquiries regarding inability to receive/ship goods.

• Conveys the Wholesale operation objectives in regard to order flow and priorities with our 3PLs and internal providers.

• Continually monitor changes to customer requests regarding VAS requirements such as label placement, ticketing etc. and communicate changes to operation team.

• Communicate with various corporate departments to prioritize shipments and maintain the retail floor set schedule.

• Monitor the condition of the building and machinery to ensure the 3PL is performing all necessary maintenance

• Audit warehouse compliance in all production related departments

 

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations or related field preferred.

•  2-3 years work experience preferred

•  Experience with vendor/customer compliance preferred

• Analytic Skills: Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data

• Systems and Tools Acumen: Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly

• Collaboration: Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of partners

• Possess strong organizational and time management skills

• Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills

 

• Travel may be required, based on business needs.

• Adhere to regular in-office presence, including to engage in in-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration.

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor as the company retains the right to change duties to this position.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

• Ability to remain in a stationary position for up to 8 hours per day

• Ability to constantly operate a computer, other office equipment and look at a monitor for up to 8 hours per day

• Ability to clearly and accurately communicate and exchange information verbally, in writing, or through other means in person, telephonically, or through virtual communication methods

• Ability to reach at or below shoulder level

• Ability to carry equipment, move boxes/samples, etc.

Pay Range

USD $72,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
